When you setup a regular monthly donation, the total of the chipin widget is decreased by that amount the next month. No double-dipping here. Our total monthly costs are approximately $1700 per month, of which I cover $600 per month myself, leaving a shortfall of $1100. We receive $140 in regular monthly contributions as of Oct 2010, so that leaves a shortfall of $960 for this month.
I use PayPal to handle these recurring payments. You will need to create a PayPal account on the next page if you do not already have one. It takes about 60 seconds. If you do not want to create a PayPal account, I’m very sorry, it’s the only cost-effective way I can do it. But, if you’d prefer to mail a check each month, you can do that.
